My name is Taylor Steele and I am a senior, Exercise and Sport Science major at UNC with a minor in neuroscience. Recently, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career as a physician’s assistant, which is why I am taking this course. I have always found the effects of bacteria and viruses intriguing , so I am looking forward to learning more about their characteristics and functions in this course. Interestingly, over the weekend, I learned that my mom was infected with mumps as a child. Thank goodness for vaccines!
When I am not in class or doing school work, I enjoy dancing and traveling. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and I have been trained in various styles such as ballet, tap, and jazz. As a child, my mom and I traveled frequently to dance competitions in the spring and summer months. My favorite destination to travel for dance competitions was Myrtle Beach, SC. I also love to try new foods, although my favorite is spaghetti from Luigi’s.
